1. Overview
Pathub is a subscription-based AI-powered patent analysis platform operated by Ada X LLC. We offer the following subscription plans:
- Starter Plan: $49 per month
- Pro Plan: $99 per month
- Enterprise Plan: Custom pricing
All subscription fees are generally non-refundable once billed. Payments are processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing to Pathub, you acknowledge and agree to this refund policy.
2. Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at info@adax.ltd. Upon cancellation:
- Your subscription remains active until the end of your current billing period.
- You retain full access to all features of your plan until the expiration date.
- No further charges will be applied after cancellation takes effect.
- No refund will be issued for the remaining days in your current billing cycle.
3. Refund Eligibility
Refunds may be issued under the following limited circumstances, at the sole discretion of Ada X LLC:
- Service Termination by Us: If we terminate your account without cause, you are entitled to a pro-rata refund for the unused portion of your billing period.
- Billing Errors: If you were charged an incorrect amount due to a system error, we will issue a full refund of the erroneous charge.
- Duplicate Charges: If your payment method was charged more than once for the same billing period, we will refund the duplicate charge.
- Exceptional Circumstances: We may, at our sole discretion, consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis for circumstances not listed above.
4. Non-Refundable Situations
The following situations are explicitly not eligible for a refund:
- Account termination due to violation of our Terms of Service.
- Partial month usage of the service.
- Change of mind after a billing period has commenced.
- Service usage during a billing period for which a refund is requested.
- Failure to cancel your subscription before an automatic renewal.
- Dissatisfaction with AI-generated output quality. AI outputs are probabilistic by nature and may vary in accuracy and completeness.
- Exceeding usage limits included in your subscription plan.
5. Free Trial Period
If a free trial is offered, it allows you to evaluate Pathub at no cost. During the trial period:
- No payment information is required to begin the trial.
- Upon trial expiration, your subscription begins at the rate of your selected plan.
- You must cancel before the end of the trial period to avoid being charged.
6. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please send an email to info@adax.ltdwith the subject line “Refund Request.” Your request must include the following information:
- The email address associated with your account.
- The date of the charge in question.
- The amount charged.
- A detailed explanation of the reason for your request.
We will review your request and respond within 5–10 business days. We may request additional documentation to verify your claim.
7. Refund Processing
If your refund request is approved:
- The refund will be issued to the original payment method used for the transaction.
- Processing takes approximately 5–10 business days from the date of approval.
- You will receive an email confirmation once the refund has been initiated.
- Ada X LLC is not responsible for delays caused by your bank or payment provider.
8. Chargebacks
We strongly encourage you to contact us directly at info@adax.ltd before filing a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or credit card company.
Filing a chargeback without first attempting to resolve the issue with us may result in:
- Immediate suspension or termination of your account.
- Forfeiture of all data and content associated with your account.
- Collection of outstanding amounts, including any chargeback fees imposed by our payment processor.
We are committed to resolving billing concerns fairly and promptly, and we encourage open communication before escalating disputes.
9. Plan Changes
Upgrades
When you upgrade to a higher-tier plan, the price difference is charged immediately on a prorated basis for the remainder of your current billing cycle.
Downgrades
When you downgrade to a lower-tier plan, the change takes effect at the start of your next billing cycle. No refund is issued for the difference between plan prices during the current billing period.
10. Changes to This Policy
Ada X LLCreserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes become effective immediately upon posting the updated policy on our website. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Your continued use of Pathub after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
